Only two simple ingredients are needed to whiten your teeth. First, go to your kitchen and open your baking cabinet. Do you have baking soda? You probably do. Grab two teaspoons of baking soda and place it in a small cup or bowl. Now, go to your bathroom medicine cabinet. Do you see hydrogen peroxide? You probably do. Add two-three teaspoons of your hydrogen peroxide to your baking soda and stir it to make a paste about the consistency of tooth paste.
Simply brush your teeth with this new paste and leave it on your teeth for at least two-three minutes. It is extremely important that you DO NOT swallow this paste! Not that you will want to swallow it, that it; this paste does not taste the best.
*Note* This toothpaste does not taste good as is. To improve the flavor, add a couple drops of mint flavoring or a dollop of actual toothpaste for a more desirable flavor.
After you have brushed with the hydrogen peroxide and baking soda paste, it is important to rinse your mouth and then brush your teeth again with regular toothpaste to rinse the peroxide solution off of your teeth to avoid erosion. Do this process whenever you feel that your teeth need a brighten, but DO NOT exceed this process more than once a week.
*Warning* If you have dental conditions, such as open sores, numerous cavities, or gum diseases like gingivitis, this whitening process may cause your gums to appear white for a short period of time. Also, this may also cause some discomfort of pain if you have extremely sensitive teeth. If you have any complications, consult your dentist or physician immediately.
