?I couldn’t believe I had let this happen! My computer was useless to me with a virus, and it was my fault it had one. With all of the anti virus programs offered at no cost on the internet, there was no excuse for this.
Friends warned me this could happen if I did not keep up with the anti virus programs on my computer. I was walking into a local business with my laptop intending to do some emailing while I waited for a service to be completed. Boom! There it was-the notice everyone dreads: A virus had been downloaded somehow, and now I was out of business. The precious time I intended to devote to online errands was now to be wasted because of the virus on my computer.
Once I got over my feeling of being overwhelmed by this dark cloud we call a virus removing my computer options for the moment, I began making calls. Someone had to know how to help me with an anti virus program. Thank goodness for friends who know what to do when I don’t. A friend was able to email a link to me that helped me get what I needed for free. I have resolved to keep up with anti virus programs on my computer. I don’t want to relive that day.
